About Midori Farm

Midori Farm was started by Hanako Myers and Marko Colby in 2008 on a 5 acre parcel of rented land.  In 2013 we purchased 29 acres of sandy loam fields and forested land in the Quilcene Valley.

Each year with the help of many hands we grow many acres of high quality produce, hundreds of thousands of seedlings for area gardens, craft farm grown fermented vegetables, and grow seeds on contract for commercial seed companies.

We are inspired by the natural world yet we realize farming is inherently unnatural and there in lies the work of the farmer.  We continually strive to improve our systems and realize the most sustainable farm is one that stays in business and creates a livelihood for those who tend it.
